Online Conference Information

Join From Anywhere

Taking part in our Wings & Wetlands Festival has never been easier. You can join from wherever you are and learn from renowned industry experts. 

Once you have purchased your tickets, you will have access to our member's only section with link information, videos and resources. Most sessions will take place via Zoom.

Before the conference begins, download Zoom (for free!) to make sure you are ready to start with the first presentation!

All resources, videos and conference meetings will be available to you for 30 days after the end of the festival! We invite you to visit beautiful Great Bend and their wetlands. Plan your trip now with the Great Bend Visitors Bureau.

 The 2021 Wings and Wetlands Festival features renowned experts.  These experts will walk you through topics of bird watching, identification techniques, Kansas wetlands, and conservation.

Kenn Kaufman

Kenn Kaufman is an American author, artist, naturalist, and conservationist, known for his work on several popular field guides of birds in North America.

Bob Gress

Bob Gress is a biologist, naturalist, photographer, and birder. He is the former director of the Great Plains Nature Center (GPNC) in Wichita, KS. Bob was the founding editor for the popular pocket guide series published by the GPNC.

Alvaro has been birding since he was 11 years old, and started guiding local trips as a teenager. He is a biologist, researcher, conservationist and guide.

Sharon Stiteler

Sharon Stiteler, also known as the Bird Chick, has traveled the world to work with birds. She is an expert on digiscoping and the author of 1001 Secrets Every Birder Should Know, and she also dabbles in beekeeping.
